He is the current president of the company he founded in 1986, Dent Inc., an investment banking firm located in Greenwich, CT.

Most of Stephen’s career has involved various finance and investment activities and he’s worked exclusively in the areas of finance, investment and acquisitions since 1982.

Stephen worked for three-years for PricewaterhouseCoopers, after which he joined the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. upon completion of graduate school.

Subsequently, Mr. Dent joined Rosenkranz & Company, a private investment partnership, where he specialized in acquisitions for their own account. In 1986, Stephen left to form his own company, Dent Inc., where he is not only the president, but also oversees all of the company’s investment activities.

Stephen Dent has an impressive educational background; he holds both a BA and a MBA from Harvard University.

Although he works hard at his company, Stephen also finds time to indulge in his favorite hobby, marine life, a love affair that began during a trip to Hawaii as a boy.
